The linear function E(t) that fits the data is:
1992 to 1998 = 6 years difference
increase in life expectancy = 74.5-70.8=3.7
3.7 in 6 years
so per year increas = 3.7/6 = 0.62
E(t) = 0.6(t)+ 70.8
