So...
In one year this guy expects to sell 5,000,000 candies in which he gets 1 shilling per 1,000.
So...
will equal the total number of shillings he will earn, right?
= 5000
1 shilling is worth $0.14.
So...
5000 x $0.14 = $700.00
So he will earn $700.00 in one year.
