Question 37648: For the equation x-2*sqrt(x)=0, solve all values of x that satisfies the equation. For some reason I can't get this right I know you have to have the square root on one side but I keep getting this wrong.
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-2*sqrt(x)=0
Factor out sqrt(x) as follows:
(sqrt(x))[sqrt(x)-2)=0
sqrt(x)=0 or sqrt(x)=2
x=0 or x=4
