Hi,
The shirt cost $ 5.00 more than each of the skirts
Let x represent the price of each skirt and (x + 5.00) the price of the blouse
Question states
2*x + (x + $5.00) = $80.00
3x = $75.00
x = $25.00, the price of each skirt. blouse cost $30.00 ($25.00+$5.00)
CHECKING our Answer
$50.00 + $30.00 = $80.00
