x(x - 3) + 4x - 3 = 8x + x(3 + x)
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From
x(x - 3) + 4x - 3 = 8x + x(3 + x)
we multiply out and get
x^2 - 3x + 4x - 3 = 8x + 3x + x^2
now collect like terms
x^2 + x - 3 = 11x + x^2
subtract x^2
x - 3 = 11x
subtract x and divide by ten giving us
-3 = 10x
x = -3/10
