Can someone explain how to work this problem:
Use the formula F=9/5C+32
Where F is Fahrenheit temperature and C is the Celsius temperature, to find the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit when the temperature is -40 degrees Celsius.

F=(9/5)C +32 C=-40 Plug C into the formula
F=(9/5)(-40)+32=-40 So when it is -40 degrees Celsius it is also -40 degrees Fahreheit.
