Question 361612: 4(2x+5)=52
Answer by shorty4aboo(8)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is the original problem.
I multiplied 4 into the 2x and then into the 5 to get 8x & 20.
Then i moved the twenty over with the 52; making it -20
This is simple subtraction 52-20= 32
Then the 8 & x are multiplied so i had to divide 32 by 8 to move it
Thus the answer is 4
