Hello,
The name of the game in Algebra is getting the letter on one side all by itself and then we have won!
7(3-k)=-3k+4
Rewritten as:
21-7k=-3k+4
Now add 3k and subtract 21 from both sides to get:
-4k=-17
Divide both sides by -4 to get:
k=17/4 or 4 1/4
Make sense?
