in the following equation was number does x stand for?
13x-4(2x-5)=15

this is how i tried doing it....
distribute first
13x-8x+20=15
combine like terms
5x+20=15
solve
15-20=-5
-5/5=-1
x=-1
im not sure if that is right...im so confused please show how you got the answer
