Question 352986: 2x-32/2=24+5x
Answer by kking001(3) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = -13.3333--
Find this by making 32/2 16 because 32/2 is 16. so it would show 2x-16=24+5x then you would add 16 to both sides of the like terms so it would show 2x=40+5x then after that you would subtract 5x from 2x because they are like terms and it would show -3x=40 you must then divide both sides by 3 to isolate the variable so that it shows -x = 13.3333-- then you multiply -x by -1 so that you can isolate the variable in a positive number (remember both sides you must do.)so it would show x = -13.3333--
