Question 35157: Can you please help me with this equation: 6y+7=3=2(y-4)
I tried: 6y+7=3=2(y-4)
=6y+7=3+2y-8
=6y-2y=3-8-7
=4y/4 = -12/4
y=-3
But it wasn't the right answer, please tell me what I did wrong.
