Question 338247: Solve using the quadratic formula:
2x2=12x-5

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x2=12x-5
2x^2-12x+5=0

x=(12+-sqrt[-12^2-4*2*5])/2*2
x=(12+-sqrt[144-40])/4
x=(12+-sqrt104)/4
x=(12+-10.198)/4
x=(12+10.198)/4
x=22.198/4
x=5.55 ans.
x=(12-10.198)/4
x=1.802/4
x=.45 ans.
