Question 329767: Which numbers cannot be used in place of the variable in each rational expression?
2x + 3
over
X^2 - 16

Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2x+3)/(x^2-16)
(2x+3)/(x+4)(x-4)
x cannot equal 4 or -4 because the denominator would be zero and division by zero is not allowed.
