Question 326318: please solve the following equation for x
3/4ln(x+3)+18 =0
could you please show working. Thanks
Answer by user_dude2008(1862) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(3/4)ln(x+3)+18 =0
(3/4)ln(x+3)=-18
3ln(x+3)=-18*4
3ln(x+3)=-72
ln(x+3)=-72/3
ln(x+3)=-24
x+3=e^(-24)
x = e^(-24)-3 <----Answer
