5x^2-4x=33 ?
Subtract 33 from both sides
5x^2 - 4x - 33 = 0
Factor this by using the factors of 33 and adding the correct signs to satisfy the middle term,
(5x + 11)(x - 3) = 0
x = 3
and
5x = -11
x =
