Question 321405: 15-(2/3)x>-5 ? can you help me solve for the x? the answer is {x<30} but how do I get to that point?
thanks

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
15-(2/3)x > -5
Add 5
20 - (2/3)x > 0
Add (2/3)x
20 > (2/3)x
(2/3)x < 20
Multiply by 3
2x < 60
Divide by 2
x < 30
That's one way.
