Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Take the log of both sides to get:
(x+3)log2=xlog5
(x+3)/x=(log5)/(log2)
1+(3/x)=2.322
3/x=1.322
x=3/1.322
x=.269
