I'll do the first one to get you started.

ab means that you simply multiply 'a' and 'b' to get ab. So we could say that 'ab' means "the product of a and b". Likewise, 'cd' means "the product of c and d"


So ab=cd translates to "the product of a and b equals (or is the same as) to the product of c and d"
