Question 314637: solve the equation
3(-2x+1)= -5(x+1)

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(-2x+1)=-5(x+1)
-6x+3=-5x-5

Add +6x to each side:
-6x+6x+3=-5x+6x-5
3=x-5

Add +5 to each side:
3+5=x
x=8
