Question 313648: I am trying to solve a compound inequality and keep getting lost can you help? 6>-2x+5 or 10> (or equal to)-2x+4
Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6 > -2x + 5

subtracting 5 ___ 1 > -2x

dividing by -2 ___ -1/2 < x

10 ≥ -2x + 4

subtracting 4 ___ 6 ≥ -2x

dividing by -2 ___ -3 ≤ x

the second condition seems to encompass the first
