Question 309639: I need help finding the real solution to this equation.
3v2 + 4v - 1 = 0
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3v2 + 4v - 1 = 0
v=(-4+-sqrt[4^2-4*3*-1])/2*3
v=(-4+-sqrt16+12)/6
v=(-4+-sqrt28)/6
v=(-4+-5.29)/6
v=(-4+5.29)6
v=1.29/6
v=.215 ans
v=(-4-5.29)/6
v=-9.29/6
v=1.548 ans.
