Question 305734: Photobucket
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/ 4+x +1/ 2-x = 3/4
2-x +4+x / (4+x)(2-x) =3/4
6 / (4+x)(2-x)= 3/4
24 = 3(4+x)(2-x)
24= 3(8-2x-x^2)
.
8= 8-2x-x^2
x^2+2x=0
x(x+2)=0
x=0 Or x=-2
