Hello,
The key to adding or subtracting fractions is having the same denominator.
This -5/8-6/-5 we'll set up the denominator to be 40 so it will look like this:
-25/40+48/40 will give us: (hint: 2 negatives gives us a positive)
23/40
Make sense?
