Hello,
Let's write this 2zy over y2 equals 14 over y as:
2zy/y2=14/y (I take it that y2 is y to the second power?)If so then multiply both sides by y^2 to get:
2zy=14y Divide both sides by 2y to get:
z=7
There you go. Make sense?
