Question 277207: The sales of a mature product (one which has passed its peak) will decline by the function. S(t) = S0e^(-at), where t is time in years. Find the sales after 25 years if
a=0.2 and S0=94,600
I tried it in this form
94600e^(0.2*25)
And my numbers aren't coming up right in the calculator. Did I not set them up right, or is there a specific way to type this correctly. Please help I really want to understand this!!
Answer is 637
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the exponent in the equation is negative, right?
