We need to find the solution for this problem:
2/c^2-2c + 1/2-c=1

Please resubmit the problem to verify that the problem is:
2/(c^2) - 2c + 1/(2-c) = 1
Thanks.

Please verify that is what it should be.
It is possible but unlikely that is the true equation
It is unusual to have c^2 in the denominator and it is also unusual to have -2c and -c in the same equation.
This equation will involve c^3 and have one real solution and two imaginary (complex) solutions.

I rather suspect that you mean:

Factor the denominator in the left-most rational expression:

Note that , so:

The LCD on the left is: , so:

This quadratic factors:

Therefore:

or

And PLEASE, in the future, use parentheses liberally so that it is clear what it is you are trying to communicate. It is difficult enough without having to guess at what a student means.

Your problem, given that I interpreted it correctly, should have been rendered as:

(2/(c^2-2c)) + (1/(2-c)) = 1
