Move the decimal point all the way to the right side of the least significant digit (the one on the right), making sure you count the number of places that you moved the decimal point.
Draw a line under the number you created when you moved the decimal point.
Under the line write a 1. After the 1 write one zero for every place you moved the decimal point in the first step.
In this case, you change 37.5 to 375 by moving the decimal point one place, so the denominator of your fraction will be a 1 followed by 1 zero to match the 1 place move:
