Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Write the expression in the form a+bi
1. (8-3i) + (-6+2i)
= (8-6)+(-3i+2i)
= 2-i
---------------------------
2. 4/(2-i)
Multiply numerator and denominator by 2+i to get:
[4(2+i)]/[(2-i)(2+i)]
= [8+4i]/[4+1]
= [8+4i]/5
