5x-3-=3x+7
Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x-3=3x+7
subtract 3x from both sides
5x-3x-3=3x-3x+7
2x-3=7
add 3 to both sides
2x-3+3=7+3
2x=10
divide by 2
x=5
