Here's one we use quite often when we walk into a store that has a sale.
Let's say you want to buy shoes at $90 and there is a sale of 30%. How much do you save?
Formula is:
30% times $90 = savings
This can be rewritten as:
(.30)($90)= ?
So therefore the answer is:
$27.00 saved on the pair of shoes.
