SOLUTION: Can you help with solving for x:
(2x + 3y)+ 3x = -3(y - 4x)
I get as far as this:
2x + 3y + 3x = -3y + 12x
-7x + -6y
I am lost from here.

You are almost there! But you have a typo with: -7x + -6y you meant to write: -7x = -6y Now all you need to do is to divide both sides by -7.
