A rough sketch helps visualize,,,,,,this is a rt triangle,,hypotenuse is rope, height is one leg adjacent to 60 degree angle, and height(h) is opposite 60 degree angle.
Tan = opposite / adjacent

tan 60 = h/ 14,,,,,or h= 14 tan 60 = 14 * 1.732 = 24.248 ft
