Solve 3x^1/2 + 12 = 9
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x^1/2 +12=9
Subract 12 from each side:
3x^1/2 = -3
Divide both sides by 3
x^1/2= -1
There are no real solutions, since in the real numbers, a square root cannot equal a negative number! NO REAL SOLUTION.
