so you will have to move some numbers to solve this.
It doesn't matter really which side you move, I always like to make my variable positive if I can, it makes it easier to solve later.
I would move the -4x to the right side and the -3 to the left side to get them on the right "teams"
5+3=4x remember when you move across the = you must change the signs, as

8=4x now divide each side by 4 to get rid of the 4 that is on the x's
