Hi Morgan,

My guess of the problem is that you want to solve for y as a function of x.

What you have so far is correct. So let's set the equation = 0 in order to get y.

Now add 3y to both sides to get y-terms on the right side.

Now divide by 3 to both sides of the equation

ANSWER if the problem is to solve for y.

We now have y as a function of x which is a line.
