Father's age now=x
Sons age now=x/3
x+14=2(x/3+14)
x+14=2x/3+28
x-2x/3=28-14
(3x-2x)/3=14
x/3=14
x=3*14
x=42 age of the father now.
42/3=14 age of the son now.
Proof:
42+14=2(14+14)
56=2*28
56=56
