Solve for x:
In the absence of parentheses in your problem, it's hard to tell whether the problem is:
a) or
b)
I will assume that it is a) and proceed from there!
Multiply through by 4 (the LCD) to clear the fractions.
Simplify.
Add the x-terms on the left.
Finally, divide both sides by 11.
