x^3 - 4x^2 + x + 6 = 0

If you substitute x = -1 you will see that -1 is a root.

Using synthetic division you can find the other roots.

Quotient: x^2-5x+6
Factor: (x-3)(x-2) = 0
Ans: x = -1 or 2 or 3
