Is this your problem? Since the problem above may be unsolvable, I think there may be a miscommunication. Please repost the question. Include the following:- Enclose your equation in braces. Start with 3 {'s and end with 3 }'s. This will allow you to see the equation in "normal" Mathematical form.
- Use more (or fewer) parentheses to ensure clarity.
- If the logs are actually base 10 logs then you have expressed them correctly. But if the logs have other bases, like base 2 logs, then use notation like log(2, x) to indicate the base 2 log of x. (This is not standard notation in Mathematics but it is what is used on Algebra.com.)
- Is there an "a" in the problem? If yes, then the solution for x will be an expression which includes "a", not just a number.
