cake cost: x + 3

Note: 1 pound = 120 pence
------------------------
Equation:
4(x+3) + 3x = 1.60 pd.
4x+12 + 3x = 1.60 pd.
7x = 1.48 pd = 1.48(120) = 177.6 pence
x = 177.6/7 = 25.37 pence (price of a bun)
