(t - 2)(t - 2) = (t + 2)(t + 2) + 24
t^2-4t+4 = t^2+4t+4 + 24
t^2-4t+4 = t^2+4t + 28
-4t+4 = 4t + 28
4 = 8t + 28
-24 = 8t
-24/8 =t
-3 = t
