first, try looking at fractions as just another way to write a division problem. so that means that the problem is: w%2F2%2B7=2h%2B2
next, to get rid of the fraction, multiply everything by the denominator (the bottom of the fraction) because multiplication is the inverse operation of division:
2%28w%2F2%2B7%29=2%282h%2B2%29 and distribute to get w%2B14=4h%2B4
anyway, if you have trouble dealing with fractions, work on learning the rules to convert them out of fraction form.
