horizontal line on the other hand means that y remains fixed no matter what x's value is
:
in our case the y coordinate is 3
:
and the equation for the horizontal line is y=3.......and it is 3 for every x value
:
try any x value and y will be 3
:
(10,3).......(-5,3)....etc
