If the line passes thru (a,b) the equation is x = a

M: slope = (2/1) ; intercept = 3-2*1 = 1; Equation y = 2x+1

The points (1,-1),(2,-3),(8,-15),(50-99),(and (1000-1999) all lie on line N.
N: slope = (-2/1), intercept = -1-(-2)1 = 1; Equation y = -2x+1
