Computing Distance: At 2pm two cars leave Eagle River, WI, one headed north and one headed south. If the car headed north averages 50mph and the car headed south averages 60mph, when will the car be 165 miles apart?

Im not entirely sure but i think by using
40x+50x=165
90x=165
x=165/90
x=1.3333
substitute for x
40(1.333)+50(1.333)see if they add up close to 165
then 1.333 x 60
you get the number of minutes and then you can add it starting at 2:00
Of course like I said i might be wrong but then again i might not be
