(2x+y)/4=z. I just had this last semester but didn't keep any of my work. This is for an astronomy paper that is due monday. will you help me please?

in general; to solve for three variables, you need three independent equations

substitution and/or elimination are the most straight forward methods

it can also be done with matrices, using Cramer's Rule

the two equations you have are NOT independent
__ multiplying the 2nd equation by 12 gives the 1st equation
