Question 173768: Remove parentheses. Then collect like terms. Solve for the variable.
1/2(3x+3)=4(4-4x)+3

Answer by HyperBrain(694)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/2(3x+3)=4(4-4x)+3
multiply both sides by 2
3x+3=2(4(4-4x)+3)
3x+3=8(4-4x)+6
3x+3=(32-32x)+6
3x+3=-32x+38
3x+32x+3=-32x+32x+38
35x+3=38
35x+3-3=38-3
35x=35
x=1
