Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor completely 2x^3y^2-10x^2y+12xy
The coefficients have a common factor of "2".
The x factors have a common power of x.
The y factors hava a common power of y.
Therefore the polynomial has a common factor of "2xy".
------------------
= 2xy(x^2y - 5x + 6)
--------
x^2y - 5x + 6 does not have factor conveniently.
so is considered to be "unfactorable".
