Question 165193: 5t+2(t+1)=30
Answer by allicat2008(3) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What you do first is bring down 5t then put the 2and t together then multiply 2 and 1 so you have a right equation so now it looks like this:
5t+2t+2=30
then put the t's together(add) so now its
7t+2=30
subtract 2 from both sides ( 2 and 30)
that cancles 2 out and makes it 7t is equal to 28 and you divide by 7 which makes it t=4 :)
