Solve this equation
I = Prt + P...Solve for P
To solve for a variable means to isolate the variable on one side of the equation.
On the right side, factor out P.
I = P(rt + 1)
Finally, divide both sides by the quantity (rt + 1).
I/(rt + 1) = P
Done!
